Our Church

The parish church of Wymondham dates back to the 13th Century and part of the Benefice of South Framland.

The school children often visit the church to learn about it's history and traditions, as well as to celebrate Christian festivals and join in services with our families.

The church has a west tower and recessed spire, nave, north & south aisles, north & south transepts, chancel and south porch. The oldest part of the church is the tower which dates to the 13th century. It has lancet windows below with twin bell-openings above with tracery and quatrefoil heads. The recessed spire was also added in the 13th century with its two tiers of lucarne windows. There are also some gargoyles below the later added parapet.

Our school is fortunate to be supported by lay ministers from the local church, who regularly join us to lead worship and enrich our collective worship life. Throughout the year, we also celebrate a number of special services in church, including our Christingle celebration, our Easter service, and our Leavers’ Service. These occasions provide meaningful opportunities for our whole school community to come together in reflection, celebration, and shared faith.
